Exactly.
Like I stated before, it's a rheostat dial. It overrides the temperature gauge and allows the air coming out of the vents to either be warmer or colder at your discretion.
This is why the air will be colder if you have it set on all blue or warmer if it's turned to the red. It's an OVERRIDE to the temperature dial. So it's not "weird". It's doing what it's designed to do.
Trust me, this is not some guess or rationalization. I know what I'm talking about.
