Good luck on your 6! I actually work (indirectly) with Hancock up in the SF Bay area. I think the best advice (I took the 7, not the 6) is to really read the question, the WHOLE question. As stated above, there are going to be alot of double negatives and tricks within the question to fool you. Roman numeral questions are a blessing, take advantage of them, and use logic to rule out wrong answer.
