Sorry coverage. With all the tornado warnings here today and the race being on the NBC local affiliate, I missed the pre-race and 26 laps of the race. F1 needs a permanent cable home and not be shuffled around between 3 different stations. How many times do we have to plug the fact that this race is in America? Almost makes me think the support for F1 here isn't what they expected and they're trying to boost it more. I can't stand Leigh Diffey and his hysterics. Accept the fact that yes, pit stops are under 3 seconds and may possibly, maybe, one day break the 2 second mark. Get used to it and move on.
And then to top it off, they miss half the live podium ceremony because of technical problems. The only bright side to that was not having to listen to the Three Stooges for a bit.
Bring back SpeedTV and Bob Varsha or move F1 to a paid package like baseball. The endless, repetitive, and frequent commercials take all the fun out of watching a race.
That said, it was another cookie cutter race with Vettel in his usual MO of taking off and leaving everyone else to fight over the scraps. I sure hope the engine changes next year bring back some true competition.
