I started a pattern of trading every four years with my first Audi back in 2007. So now I have figured out that my "itch" is every four years. That said, after the A3 I just traded, the itch came in year 3. I had every intention of holding out another year to get rid of it, but financial reasons (no B.S. here, not trying to make excuses for why I scratched it early) put me in the BMW I have had now for 3+ weeks.
