Well, the Challenger might be tricky to fit a roof rack on because you typically need a window or door opening to clip into. Plus as you said, raising a heavy cruiser up onto the roof is a bit of a stretch.
Better to do a trailer mount, most cars can run a stealth mount hitch that you would never see until you need to mount the bike rack. As always, no paint contact is best.
