Don't quite understand all the rage here. I see many here where I live, on a daily basis (will post pictures later today).
My own opinion is that if I'm privileged enough to drive an M, I enjoy it without caring too much about M wannabes. This possessive mentality is to me a little pointless. What does it achieve? In fact be happy people are so ready to slap on the M badge, it really reflects the prestige the emblem carries.
