Stop riding in blind spots.
I was taught not to do this. Never had an issue. 800,000 miles. If you've been in 10 accidents like this you may want to consider you aren't practicing safe driving skills with regard to blindspots. I have had people change lanes and almost hit me by mistake. But i simply hit the button in the center of my steering wheel and apply moderate pressure to the center pedal and so far its worked.
