I loved this show. I would watch reruns after coming home from school. Till I got into true science fiction and understood the physics of spaceflight. Now it seems like one of the dumbest, silliest shows ever.
Lost in Space.
And apparently it was a knockoff of Star Trek. Roddenberry pitched "Trek" to CBS before NBC, they declined, but immediately green lighted this show.
