The rarity also appeals to me. I rarely see one is why it appeals to me. The question is why did they make the fugly thing? X3 if you need functionality and if you need both functionality and great driving characteristics than there is the Touring. The GT doesn't excel or beat any of the two vehicles in any one area. It only wins in the Fugly arena in my and many others opinion.
BMW made the correct decision.
