You mean cars with transplanted engines that were non existent for that era? Because that 3.0 CSL didn’t come with that engine. Basically, it’s a resto-mod. And the back-dating/resto mod scene is owned by Singer.
Right now, BMW has some serious company. Ford with its Mustang variants, with its GT350/GT350R giving a very good alternative to the GTS/CSL (and a better engine note). And yes, the Camaro 1LE. Then you have Mercedes Black Series variants, as well as Audi’s Plus. When others step up their game, BMW must step Theirs up to keep ahead.
