When we first saw her she had several burns on her hind quarters where someone put cigarettes out on her. We took her home on the spot,with the stipulation that as long as my 3 males accepted her into the pack we would keep her. Well,she fit right in so she's been with us since '15.
I honestly feel that when you rescue a dog/animal they know that you saved them from a horrible life and you're giving them the best possible care and love they could get. And they appreciate it and pay it back in spades. She has to be the most charismatic dog we've ever had and has an amazing personality.
When she first came home,she let me know it's time to eat by grabbing her bowl and bringing it to me. When she had enough pics for the day,she hides her face w her paws lol. Love that lil girl!

That is awesome. Hearing of animal abuse makes my blood boil.
One of our cats was found in a bag on the side of the road.
Seeing something like that would bring my bad side out in a split second, and I don't think I would be able to control myself.
