Also ~ a $2800 Mustang in 1964 (first year they were released) comes out to $24k today, which is about how much Mustangs go for today. If we kept an index of Mustang for purchase power those prices aren't too far away off from today's prices. Milk has seemingly inflated A LOT since then ($8 per gallon based on 1964) |
