Bagara rice

The flavor profile on this is unbelievable, speaking from the point of view of a western palate. Complex and deep flavors. And hot (spicy). I usually use 1/4 of the heat spices (red chili powder or green chiles), or none at all. This time I used 1/4 of the prescribed amount of green chiles and it was pretty hot.
Ingredients:
Basmati rice
Onion
Green chile
Green cardamom
Cinnamon
Cloves
Bay leaf
Ginger garlic paste
Curry leaves
Coriander (cilantro) leaves
Stone flower (featured flavor)
Salt
Ghee (small amount, I used butter)
Accompanied by mint chutney and mango pickle/achar.
