And to go on a brief wonky side note - this article completely disregards more than 70 years of behavioral science research that pretty convincingly shows that these social behaviors are most strongly affected by situation specifics, not personality traits or 'character'. My personal favorite was one where they got seminary students to literally hop over a faux homeless guy having a seizure rather than help him, because they were late for an important class. So yes, Karen, it IS because we are driving the ultimate driving machines that are tremendously rewarding to drive fast, and if you were in a BMW its likely you would also do the same damn thing.
