I've never been on twitter and don't plan to as I can only imagine life getting worse if I did(nothing to do with musk's takeover). I didn't even know about MySpace and Tom etc had to Google them!
Fairness and balance needs to be matched with moderation of content to filter out hate and discriminatory content and I hope there are mechanisms to do this properly and that the new signups aren't loony types who let the system down.

I'm sure there will be mechanisms, but we also have to consider the term "
hate speech" is about as misused/overused as the words "
racism/racist/fascist". These days people label everything that challenges their views hate speech or racist.
