I've never been on twitter and don't plan to as I can only imagine life getting worse if I did(nothing to do with musk's takeover). I didn't even know about MySpace and Tom etc had to Google them!
Fairness and balance needs to be matched with moderation of content to filter out hate and discriminatory content and I hope there are mechanisms to do this properly and that the new signups aren't loony types who let the system down. |
I'm sure there will be mechanisms, but we also have to consider the term "
hate speech" is about as misused/overused as the words "
racism/racist/fascist". These days people label everything that challenges their views hate speech or racist.
