In the cabin is pretty easy for dog travel. Do to the size of our dog it was required to travel below and the outside temp forecast couldn't exceed 85 deg at take off or landing. Vets typically won't prescribe meds for travel - Too much liability. We didn't give our dog anything and it worked out fine.
