My theory for years is that we are warm-blooded freaks of nature in a cold-blooded galaxy. Whatever whacked the dinosaurs on Earth definitely messed up our evolutionary timeline, and set us back many years while dinosaurs on other planets were evolving into cold-blooded intelligent beings. Hence, the reports that interplanetary visitors frequently resemble reptiles and not humans. The dinosaur extinction certainly set us back a looooong way compared with evolution and development of technology on the other planets, so my theory is plausible.....
