If you feed lab rats enough of anything, they will develop problems. Just like humans. If you drink that many sodas, you definitely have a dietary problem. This is true for any abuse of a product.

Agreed.

I think part of the issue is people with a sugar addiction will instead drink excessive amounts of Diet Coke thinking it is better than regular coke. I had a boss at a college job who literally drank 3 diet Cokes a day.
