If both Red Bulls would have DNF'd the Austrian Sprint because of crashing into each other, the chill atmosphere between both team mates / team hates would have dipped even further sub zero.
The relationship was already beyond repair since mid 2022. A catastrophic crash yesterday, could have triggered Helmut Marko to replace Perez at once by Ricciardo or Tsunoda for the rest of 2023. Perez may be happy that Verstappen managed to keep his car under control in the rain with two wheels on the wet grass.
