Thinking about Checo, if he stays second in the championship then I don't think there would be a reason to replace him after all, I don't see Max not agreeing with that, the trust is there with no drama as seen at the sprint first lap, so either Lando stays at an improving McLaren or moves to Merc as you suggested should a place become vacant there and of course Ferrari is always speculated upon.
