I'm both pissed and sad today, after receiving third-party news about my late (COVID) best friend's former live-in partner (had to go there) that has estranged herself from every one of my friend's family/friends since his passing.
The estate let her keep my friend's three dogs, to comfort her during her grieving. One of those dogs was our OCD Psycho Dog's sister from the same litter.
Anyway, we found out today that she had all three perfectly-healthy dogs put down a few months ago, because caring for them cramped her new party-girl lifestyle.
My DW and I would have adopted OCD Psycho Dog's sister in a heartbeat if we knew, and my late-friend's family would have taken the other two.
I don't use this term often, but that fscking BITCH had the dogs murdered because she was too cheap to pay the fees for the local animal shelters to take them in! Heaven forbid something cut into her drinking/party money.....
