Recently, I bought a Timex Triathlon watch for my trip to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. It was a solid purchase and the temperature at the Grand Canyon was over 113 degrees Fahrenheit. My watch kept excellent good time and I locked it with Atomic time and it 0 seconds ahead or behind when I came back from the trip. My Dad's Timex quartz watch was slow about 1 hour probably due to the extreme temperatures. If I didn't rely on my watch, I would have missed the bus back to Las Vegas!

Now I know why the Timex Triathlon watch is certified for use by NASA for space travel and it's a common digital watch for fighter pilots.

It's cheap, accurate, and reliable. I recommend it, even though it's not a classy looking watch but sporty enough for a 3 series driver.

Note: I bought it new a week before the trip so the battery was probably still strong so the extreme temperatures at the Grand Canyon probably didn't affect the battery so much. My Dad's Timex analog quartz watch was 5 years old so the battery was probably somewhat weak in the beginning.
