[Our03z4]

Wife and I were at a movie the a few evenings ago and started to get texts from my wife's father and brother saying to call them ASAP. Her mother had an extreme dizzy spell that was so bad she agreed to get checked out at the local ER (she HATES anything medical so that wasn't a good sign in itself).

They proceeded in doing a catscan (even though she doesn't have cats j/k) which showed a pretty decent sized mass and swelling in her brain. She was immediately transported to the trauma hospital. They know now it's cancer but unsure what type until removed. Thankfully all imaging shows a clean sweep in the rest of the body, we'll take it! They already have her scheduled for surgery on Monday and they are keeping her until after then. They are shocked she hasn't had seizures (which they are pushing meds for since it should be happening) or more symptoms as it's a fairly large size. I'm just thankful we are home as we had just gotten back from across the country, my wife would have been sick.

Just goes to show, one day everything seems fine and the next pure chaos. She just retired and this is going to severely cut into her plans. Especially since after surgery they will still be doing chemo as well. I know we don't talk religion here but she could really use your prayers.
