Mr Musk destroyed the perception of luxury, and we are here to see aftermath for many decades, this direction may not have come.

On safety critical devices we still have old style switches for a reason due to failure cycle and ergonomics. The screens are distraction magnets and capacitive touch ain’t for use while drive as primary input mechanism.

We shall see how it all shakes out.

Screens are indeed cheap on many levels of auto manufacturing and design.

Big screens are the new big front grilles folks
