A recent "for sale" posting at Ferrarichat.com is this 612 Scaglietti 2+2 coupe. This car was manufactured in 2007 and has 22,577 miles on it. The paint is Grigio Silverstone and the interior is Cuoio (Ferrari's version of saddle). The car has the F1 transmission similar to BMW's sequential manual gearbox and is equipped with 20-inch Challenge wheels.
This Scaglietti is located in San Diego, California, and the asking price is $119,500.
Ferrari 2+2s are the most attainable Ferraris; despite being quite expensive when new (see window sticker) they depreciate more than the more sporting models.
While a 612 Scaglietti is in some ways my dream car and I have drooled over Ferraris for decades, I would still not own one. The running costs are simply too expensive. This one stopped me in my tracks, though. I am about to put my 15-acre rural property up for sale and am thinking about selling my M3 and buying an M850i for, you guessed it, about $120,000. Owning a new BMW versus a 15-year-old Ferrari is an entirely different proposition, though!
All that said, this is a beautiful car!
