I’ve had mine for as long as 13 years and have moved them from room-to-room and 4 house moves in that time. I’ve never had a problem reconnecting them, and they don’t “drop off” once connected. My only complaint is that the old ones, which I own, are not compatible with the new ones because the new speaker app (S2) is not backward compatible. So I can’t buy new ones without running two apps, which is too confusing for some in my house (and, frankly, rightly so).
