Predictions....
I still think the McLaren is by far the fastest car on the grid.
But.....having the fastest car is not enough. Aerodynamics are so important now and they have the consequence that cars just cant follow other cars in close distance without all kinds of overheating and slowing down. And the McLaren seems to have possibly the most effects of that, maybe because they're the fastest.
So getting a good qualifying, a good start and a good pit stop strategy is still key, also for McLaren. But that's something Max (and RB) is also very very good at
My prediction for Abu Dhabi:
1. NOR
2. LEC
3. VER
4. SAI
5. PIA
6. RUS
7. HAM
8. GAS
9. LAW
10. PER
This would mean McLaren gets the WCC and Lando gets #2 in the WDC.
But who knows to what extend the recent Max-George feud will explode and give them both a DNF.
Max is not gonna let these recent outings of RUS rest. On the one side I appreciate his straigth foreward opinions and if he doesn't like something, he just speaks his mind (like he did last year on the Vegas GP with those awkward/schandalous situations with that SAI sewerlid incident and that incident that spectators weren't allowd to their seats on the stand even though they paid for tickets....), but on the other hand his direct opinions and sometimes percieved stubbornness isn't the best thing for media opinion, team exposure etc (but he just doesn't care about that).
For sure this feud gives us enough entertainment
