Road salt & underbody-corrosion-prevention

Anyone who does a bit of engine-powered boating on salt water is likely familiar with the salt antidote, ‘Salt Away’.

It’s a flushing & rinsing detergent that defeats existing salt & leaves a salt-resistant film on all manner of objects.

I have used it on jetskis and trailers and have found it excellent. It’s biodegradeable and made of all sorts of lovely stuff according to the manufacturer.

I was thinking it would be ideal for wintry-conditions when roads are being salted resulting in underbody corrosion.

My plan is to use an underbody lance to rinse the car with a Salt Away solution, see images.

I wonder has anyone thought about doing this or whether someone already is and whether it’d be unkind to the complex undercarriage of G9x?
