LS motors, and the LT that proceeded it are basically the pinnacle of automotive engineering. They're great on gas, simple, toms.of aftermarket make big power, super reliable, parts are plentiful and cheap... They're basically everything that BMW engines aren't lol.

The value in like, a C6 Corvette is unbeatable. If you need a backseat, a GRO or Camaro SS. 4 doors? CTSV, Chevy SS, or build basically any GM truck or SUV with a V8. The truck 5.3 shares a lot of DNA with an LS1/2/3 in a Vette.

If you want something small and light, get a Saturn sky and LS swap it. They fit in nicely.
