2,000yds today, great swim. I swam 5 x 400 instead of 9 x 200 with the idea of reducing time spent recovering between sets. Not sure I reduced recovery time!

400yd sets were more challenging so that felt good.
Average heart rate during the sessions has dropped over the past few weeks which suggests improving cardio fitness with a bit lower calorie burn. Fitbit says my cardio score increased - allegedly the number Fitbit displays is VO2max.
I had the lane to myself for most of the session, which was nice.
