We finally made it into H Mart. I've never seen so much food packed into so small a space in my life. Not that it's a small store, it's just packed tight. And what variety. I'm no fan of kimchi, but they had a half aisle of dozens of different style kimchis. We were looking for dumplings (potstickers).
Q: "Where are the dumplings?"
A: "Aisle 7"
Q: "Where in aisle 7"
A: "Aisle 7"
Never seen so many different kinds of dumplings. Like one whole freezer door was just shrimp dumplings. The next two doors were pork dumplings. And so on. The place was busy as hell, but when we were done we walked right up to an open checkout and were done in no time. The only gripe I had was the food court. They had some interesting options, but way too few places to sit. There were hardly any unfilled seats, so we went elsewhere to eat. We'll have to try again on some weekday when it isn't during the lunch hour. But what an amazing place.
