Interesting read - all good boys must eventually go though...sad as it is.
What I do find strange though is that the guy who kicked and by the sounds of it, severely injured Hurricane as well as perhaps the other dog that he fought off....why was his sentence so light? Why would they agree to let him plea to trespassing and he gets maybe a year and a half which I think basically translated down to time served at that point.
Wouldn't an assault on a police dog carry more charges? Not certain, but one would think the system would want to make an example of this guy in particular to dissuade others from attempting to get into the White House of all places.
