This weird generation of immense focus on all the bells and whistles takes the true car design, engineering and dynamics away only bringing cheaper components (aka manufacturing cost savings) to the maker but a $10k price increase to the customer.

There isn’t anything to ‘fix’ with their cars, they’re al leading in their categories, and they’re doing great in terms of sales and critical acclaim.
“True car design” is your truth. There is never a ‘true’ car design, it’s always evolving.
Also, engineering and dynamics of BMW have never been as good as they are now. And BMW didn’t raise prices.
