There's more scammers everywhere but I just sold my father in law's Q5. Up on autotrader, kijiji and facebook, weed out the idiots, answer a few questions, talk money, meet at police station cash cheque in hand.
I mean by all means go the easy route, that's fine but OP wants to avoid taking a bath.
What about BAT? May get decent money there, can always set a reserve. Low risk.
