Of course! But it's not so dramatical as it seems.
He "re-installed" the wheel deliberately, and to do so, he had to push (or pull) a ring/handle behind it and simultaneously pull the wheel towards his body. Comparable when you change your drill chuck on your drill hammer.
But don't try this at home with your wheel!
