But that is the ENTIRE point of it. It can do all that but when you hustle it, is IS a sports car, it is going to leave every car on that list other than the vette and the AMG GT (which are sports cars) for absolute dead in terms of handling and enjoyment when you throw it around a little.
My 997 is obviously a bit more raw but yeah, that's why I bought it. On Saturdays I throw the wife and kids in it with a picnic basket in the frunk, we drive enthusiastically through rural roads, go for a hike, eat lunch, drive back top down and again enthusiastically. On a Sunday I can go alone and drive at 9 tenths on some abandoned back road and it is definitely a sports car, not a GT car. I cross shopped an XKRS Jag, Mustang S550 PP2, Gran Turismo and E92 M3 and all 4 felt heavy and cumbersome compared to the 911.
If I did not need back seats I would have likely gone with a Z4M and if the GT350 came in a drop top I may have been tempted to go that route.
