Well, I can't find it (maybe it was in the "unsearchable" Off-Topic section and I have no good keywords for Google) but I remember clearly (no way I could imagine that
and quite unlikely it was somebody else) you wrote you had an attractive job offer requiring temporary relocation (a long business trip?) and when you asked your wife if you could take it she told you you could go if you bought her a Porsche, not necessarily new. If that were true it would look you finally bought her the car in vain, in a sense.
