Unfortunately, my hearing sucks so I can't hear them very well. I hike with a friend who is a birder. He travels to Texas for migration, to Iceland to see rare birds, etc. He knows many of the birds calls and he tells me what he's listening to when we hike. It's very interesting. I've got great eyesight, but I wish I could hear better. One time were hiking and I heard a sound way off in the distance. I asked my friend if he knew what it was and he replied, "That's a chainsaw!"
