you don't have either there, what you have is M-ASK.

CID = Central Information Display.

If you're going to upgrade, skip CCC altogether and go straight to CIC i-Drive, it was installed in late model E60s and is much, much better. You'll need to be able to code as well. I had an E60, coding them is fairly straightforward if you know what you're doing and feel comfortable with it. Check out 5series.net, that's a great E60 forum and it's a bit more active than this one. You could also skip the factory options altogether and just go right to a setup like Dynavin.
