Here’s what I got!
Stir 2 cups flour together with a 1/2 tsp salt. Slice cold 2 sticks of butter and combine with flour with hands. Slowly add 10-13 tablespoons ice cold water and work until dough is just combined. Chill dough for 30 min in plastic wrap before use. Divide dough into 4s. Roll out into rectangles. Leave plain or brush a little with egg wash.
Add stalks of asparagus directly to the tarte and drizzle with olive oil.
Add Gruyère and parmigiano reggiano, salt and pepper, and any other herbs you want. Our favorite is pink peppercorns. Bake at 415 F for 25-35 minutes. Keep an eye on it until tarte is golden brown and is bubbling cheese.
