Not all types of degradation can be seen with the naked eye. Are you willing to risk your daughter's life on something you can't see?

I think a quick search will tell a different story, but hey, you do what you want, it's your life. Unless the conditions are perfect, and I mean absolutely perfect, there is no way I'd keep a set of tires for 10 years. It's simply not worth the risk.
