What are your sources, for some (all?) of the manufactures you are citing?
I've looked up BMW CPO requirements, and the tire section only references tread depth, not tires' age:

Scare mongering much?
OP's tires are made by Michelin. Another poster referenced (
and I'm re-linking) Michelin's official position on its tire longevity:
1). After 5 years or more in use, your tires should be thoroughly inspected at least once per year by a professional.
2). After 10+ years after their date of manufacture, as a precaution, Michelin recommends replacing them with new tires.
Any other opinions are pure speculation for speculation's sake.

It's the responsibility of the party making extraordinary claims (like you are doing) to furnish the evidence to back them up. Not the other way around.

Michelin says otherwise, but what do they know, right?
What should we all do - follow advice of the tire manufacturer, or some internet strangers?
You decide!
