He's incredibly fast in S1, S2 is a bit equal to the McLarens, but the McLarens are much faster in S3.
I think that's the effect of the softs already wearing on the RB and not on the McLarens.
I fear the racepace of the McLarens will be superior again, their tyredeg is unbelievable.
With all the potential phasechange materials in the brake drums, I wonder if they use something like sodium. Probably not sodium but a metal with lower melting point, but it's very normal to use sodium in hollow exhaust valves so at the moment the exhaust valve gets hot, the sodium melts and disperses the heat better through the valvestem. (this has been done since the 50's or so, this is nothing new)
