I'm assuming the bad fuel thing is the result of a motor that revs to over 8000rpm and is tuned extensively to squeeze max power out of it with a really high compression and such.
I absolutely love my 2011 Cayman Base 6MT that revs to its 7600rpm fuel cut without a fight, but damn, the repair costs if one must need to use Porsche are just bonkers. I have no desire at all to own a GT or even S model series Porsche and definitely not a turbo one of any vintage.

100%. I’m shocked at the fact a 2 month old car requires $7000 in maintanence and feel the dealer - being a new dealer with noob experience across the board - is mishandling just about everything.
This has completely jaded me about the brand, and I won’t be back.
Ultimately I just need a dependable fun car for the weekends - so I got out of it.
