At the end of the day these owners aren’t fooling anyone. True enthusiasts know what the car is and what it isn’t. The average Joe just sees a BMW and has no clue what a real //M is anyway.

To each their own. Hey, it’s your car and if it makes you happy….

Though personally, I will never understand why if you are going to modify your car, at least do tasteful mods to your model. Don’t try to make it look like something it is not. These kits are typically bad quality and also have poor fitment and look bad.

If you actually are trying a true conversion and using high quality kits and parts, you might as well put the $$ into the real thing. It will also have a higher value when you’re done with it.
