I had to replace our kitchen sink after someone tossed in a portafilter in it w/ a little too much zeal, resulting in a puncture of one of the basins. Given the granite countertop we have and my desire not to have to cut or replace it, I had to find a sink of the right dimensions and reveal.

I finally found a place and it shipped pretty quickly. Delivery was over the holidays, when I had off of work, so I'd have plenty of time to screw up the install and fix it. Ultimately, it was delivered a week and a half late but I still got the job done.

The kicker was that, from the website, it appeared the sink would ship from the East coast. Turns out, it shipped from about 50min from where I live (not the East coast) and I could've just driven to pick it up. However, due to the chain of couriers, I couldn't get ahold of anyone to have them hold the item so I could get it. Icing on the cake was that it was FedEx Freight that was the end courier. When the guy showed up, he said he had a delivery of screws for me (as shown in the BOL). Seemed odd but the item dimensions were right for the sink I ordered. He was just as confused as I was but nice enough to stick around for me to verify the pallet indeed had a boxed up sink, not screws, before accepting the delivery.

Shipping.....it sometimes keeps life unnecessarily spicey.
