After watching today’s practice sessions, it looks like McLaren still have the edge in outright pace, with Max Verstappen once again their closest challenger. This weekend’s Spanish GP is particularly interesting as all 10 teams have brought upgrades, many in response to the full implementation of TD018, the FIA’s new flexi-wing directive.

If you are curious about the technical changes and what each team has introduced, this breakdown does a great job summarizing the key upgrades. This should be a fascinating weekend ahead and hopefully we will have an exciting race on Sunday unlike the one we had last Sunday at Monaco.
