Renting a trailer is usually a pain in the ass. When you need one, it's just another thing to deal with.

Where are you going to store it? This was the biggest issue for me, I didn't have a big open area to store it, and my HOA would lose their minds of I tried.

I went with a harbor freight folding trailer for like $400. It's weight limit is fairly low, around 1000 pounds, but they have one with slightly more capacity. I can fold it up and store it in my garage or in my utility area.

Outside of that, go aluminum. It doesn't rust. It's lighter..the trailers hold value better. Better all around.
