Running is out of the question for me due to prior knee injuries. But cycling doesn't seem to bother my knees.
I started resistance training about 18 months ago to build up some muscle mass. I was following all the advice I got from the PT folks who worked with us for the first 3 months as well as everything I'd read online about starting resistance training in your 60's. Yet somehow I still managed to screw up my right shoulder. I haven't been able to train since January and I'm in the middle of physical therapy now, hoping to get this thing fixed so I can get back to training. Luckily, I can still cycle, so the weight loss continues.

I jacked up my left shoulder in early 24. I went to a Physical Therapist, she did dry needling and specific exercises, but kept me in the gym working out. I was pain free in three weeks, and then we went to work building the shoulder back.
I am a HUGE fan of the dry needling
Stay after it, man. It is worth it
