I have been loosely following the case (not the trials) since I watched the documentary on HBO (suggested by a friend). I then listened to a few podcasts on the first trial.
While I don't think she hit him intentionally I am not 100% that she didn't hit him accidentally. I do think that in the first trial (and I assume the second) there was overwhelming reasonable doubt (mostly caused by a badly executed investigation with too many people having conflicts of interest) to be able to convict her.
I'll be interested to see the outcome of the second trial. And if it is another hung jury if they will try her again.
